Purchasing, renewals, cancellations and refunds

Credit/Debit Cards

We do not store credit/debit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

Directory subscriptions and renewals

Standards.org provides directory listings on the basis of a recurring annual subscription. Using the website, you can create, edit and manage these listings.

Providing you do not cancel your subscription, you will receive an invoice every year on the anniversary date of your subscription. Your invoice can be paid in a number of ways, either online using a credit/debit card, by bank transfer, or by mailing a cheque to our registered office. Your listing will be reviewed and made live on the website as soon as payment is received.

Press releases and job listings

Content items can be purchased online using a credit/debit card, and are queued for approval by an administrator. On approval, the content is made live on the website. This process is usually completed within 2 hours but can take up to 24 hours.

Refunds

As you receive immediate marketing exposure when publishing electronic content on the Standards.org website, no refunds will be given for the cancellation or termination of any purchases. Due to the digital nature of our products, no automatic right of refund or cancellation exists after a subscription or content item has been purchased by you in accordance with Regulation 13 of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

Stanorg may refund a subscription in whole or part at its sole discretion. The exercise of such discretion is arbitrary and shall not establish precedent with regard to a specific customer or any customer.

Cancellations

Subscriptions and content items can be cancelled at any time by logging into the Website, navigating to the content management area, and deleting your content. This will remove the content from the website.

Subscription items must be cancelled prior to the renewal date of the subscription. If a subscription has not been cancelled, and your subscription fees remain unpaid, you will be liable to pay all outstanding subscription fees to Stanorg Limited.

Account Closure

In order to close your user account, please send an email to support@standards.org requesting the closure of your account.
